July 6-15, 2018: Altamaha River Odyssey
Get ready for a whole lot of sunshine, leisurely canoe conversation, hammock lounging, giant sandbar camping, A++ stargazing, Rubbermaid-lid vegetable chopping, creative oatmeal concocting, and splashing in the mightiest river in all the land! And of course, learn from a cadre of incredible artists, scientists, historians, geographers and activists, all of whom love the Altamaha and the southern wilds. Registration for Altamaha Odyssey starts February 15th! You’re not going to want to miss this river!
At Fall Line South, you’ll meet the best folks around to provide an immersive, environmental, “experiential learning” experience for teens. Now as a rising college senior, I still find myself talking about my experience on the River…learning to use my body in new ways, facing challenges only the outdoors can provide, exploring new worlds with the help of peers and teachers alike…these are the lessons that truly stick with you!
